Cachapas - Venezuelan and Colombian Pancakes

Hi everyone! I'm sorry for being away finally my vacations started. Today I'm bringing you this recipe. Hope you enjoy it!

Cachapas or Sweet Arepas are a traditional Venezuelan and Colombian pancakes made from corn.

All the ingredients that you need are:
- 1 Cup of Sweet Corn Mix
- 1 Cup of water
- 1/4 Cup of Milk
- 1 Teaspoon of Olive Oil

How to do it:
- Add all the ingredients in a bowl and mix until they have a uniform consistency.
- Let it settle for 10 minutes.
- Preheat a frying pan to medium high temperature.
- Stir mix and slowly pour one portion onto frying pan and extend it in a circular form.
- Let it cook for 3 or 4 both minutes sides until it's cook inside or until desired golden color.
- Serve with butter, honey, ham, mozarella, fresh white cheese or syrup.
- Enjoy

Of course I made my changes, Instead of 1 cup of water I used only Milk (1 Cup + 1/4 Cup) and instead of Olive Oil I used 150g of butter. I also add a egg and a 3 spoons of sugar.

Cooking it with my changes:
- Melt 150g of butter
- Add 1 cup of Sweet Corn Mix and 3 spoons of Sugar and mix it
- Add 1 1/4 Cups of Milk and 1 egg and mix it again
- Cook it and enjoy it.
