Brasilian Food - Steak with Black Beans and Rice

Hello everyone!
Today I'm going to show you how to do this brasilian dish. In this dish you don't use steak, you use the Round part of the cow.


In Portuguese / Brasilian this dish is called "Picanha com Feijão Preto e Arroz".
I'm leaving here all the steps. =)
Hope you like it, cause I did!

Ingredients (4 people)
- 1 Sausage cutted into pieces
- Olive Oil
- 1 Sliced Onion
- 4 Sliced Garlic
- 3 Dry Bay Leaves
- Spices (Black Pepper, Sweet pepper powder and salt)
- 1 Big Can of Black Beans
- 4 Steaks seasoned with pepper and salt.

How to do it

1 - Fry the sausage in the olive oil.


2 - Add the onion.


3 - Mix it and let the onion fry and get some of the sausage flavour.


4 - Add the garlic and let it fry.


5 - Add the Bay Leaves.


6 - And the spices. Let it cook for a while.


7 - Add the Black Beans.


8 - Let it cook till boilling. Taste it and add more spices to your taste. Turn it of when the beans are cooked.


9 - Cook the meat.


10 - Serve and enjoy the meal.

Pepper Steak

Hiiii, I'm sorry for being away for so long! I have so many pageviews! That just makes me feel horrible for being away all this time but i've been in exams and many stress because I have to move out in 3 weeks and you know it's crazy!

Lets talk about our blog! My dears, we have to decide the main ingredient for our 2nd Food Marathon! So I made this form in which you give me your opinion. Please, feel free to choose everything you want.

And today's recipe:



Pepper Steak


Ingredients: Sirloin - 300 zCrushed Black Peppercorn - 2 tbspSalt


Instructions:1. Crush the peppercorns. 2. Season steak with salt and dip one side of the beef into peppercorns.3. Sear in a skillet or on a BBQ, peppercorn side down first. cook about 4-6 mins each side, depending on thickness of cut or desired temperature.
